Nurse Assistant
The Nurse Assistant program is a comprehensive course designed to teach students the skills and abilities essential to the provision of basic care to patients and residents in hospitals and long term care facilities. Graduates of this program may find entry-level employment as a nurse aide with hospitals and nursing homes.

The Pharmacy Technician program offered at South Texas Vo-Tech is designed to provide entry level skills for an exciting career as a Pharmacy Technician in retail or hospital settings. The program provides both the knowledge and practical applications in the field of pharmacy.

* Classroom lecture
* Laboratory practice
* Will ultimately be assigned to a pharmacy to apply acquired skills and knowledge.
Professional Massage Therapy
The Professional Massage Therapy Program prepares students to become successful Massage Therapists eligible to work in a variety of therapeutic environments. The program exceeds standards set by the state and national certification, providing in depth training in the art and science of massage therapy, focusing on clinical methods and advanced techniques.
The program features:
* Solid foundation in Anatomy, Physiology, Kinesiology and Pathology
* The Art and Science of Swedish Massage
* Successful Business Mastery
* Advanced training in Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, and Special Populations
* Adjunctive training in Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Acupressure, Sports Massage and Pre-natal.
Duration: 7.5 months, Morning or Evening programs
