Working in skilled trades means getting to work tactically in a very hands-on environment. From automotive service to HVAC maintenance, skilled trades jobs are a great fit for people who don’t want a desk job. STVT offers programs for students looking for affordable, flexible education that gives them the chance at an exciting future.
The universal value of a good education shouldn’t be underestimated. But what that education looks like is not always the same. Classes that teach students how to work in a job where they sit in an office cubicle all day might not interest someone who wants to work with their hands rebuilding cars, repairing diesel trucks, or servicing HVAC units.
At South Texas Vocational Training Institute (STVT), we understand each student has their own unique future ahead, and we are here to help them learn the skills to make sure it’s bright. Our programs offer courses that allow our students to step away from the desk and gain hands-on experience. Students also learn in labs and industry-standard settings using their hands to train and develop the skill sets to help achieve the career of their dreams.
At STVT we have a variety of vocational skilled trade training programs available.
